This week the wet weather caused massive disruption to the fixtures in the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League we saw five teams from the league due to compete in round three of the Lincs Junior Cup only three games survived along with only one league game. In the Lincs Junior Cup Briggensians travel to Immingham to play Lincolnshire League side Immingham Town and were well beaten 4 – 0; Messingham United entertained another Lincolnshire league side Cleethorpes Town Reserves, Cleethorpes took the lead after 43 minutes through Joe Flemming the lead was increased on 49 minutes by Charlie Flemming, Gary Nimmo made it 3 – 0 after 73 minutes, and Joe Tayler scored for Messingham on 79 minutes to make the final score 3 – 1 to Cleethorpes Town Reserves; Limestone Rangers made the long trip to Skegness to play another Lincolnshire League team in Skegness Town Reserves and game away beaten 4 – 1 Limestone Rangers scorer for Limestone being Dominic Walton; in Division Two Dan Brown Scored for Scotter United Reserves as they were beaten 3 – 1 by Manor Park CF thanks to a Aiden Legge brace and one goal from Rhys Worrall.
