FC Britannia continue to set the pace in NAPIT ONE following their 4-2 success at Brampton Rovers, their fourth win in six starts, Chambers, with his eighth goal of the season, Whitehead, Martin and Aitkin finding the back of Rovers net. Two goals from Gary Parsons and one from Lee Walker helped Killamarsh Juniors Athletic to a 3-1 victory over Creswell, a win that leaves them just a point behind the leaders. A point further back are Hasland, 5-3 winners over Whitecotes and they have played two games less than the top two. On target for Hasland were Senior and Booker twice, Claridge once. Clowne Wanderers excellent start to first division football continued with a 2-0 victory against Eckington Boys, Ben Carless and Mathew Robson scoring the winning goals. Bolsover Town SC have been one of the top NAPIT LEAGUE sides for several seasons, however five games in and they are still looking for their first win of the campaign after they slipped to a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Renishaw MW, Plawecki and Preston the Renishaw match winners.
In NAPIT TWO FC Brimington took on Hollingwood for the second time this season and beat them for the second time. 4-2 was the outcome of the first encounter in Brimingtons favour and the second time around the winning margin was 5-0, with Josh Thomas scoring two as did Tom Fairweather, Sam Taylor adding goal number five. Meanwhile New Whitt stay top after cruising to a 5-0 win at Wingerworth Barley Mow, Gary Morton hitting his eighth goal of the season in the win. Grassmoor Sports recorded win number four of the season, beating Woodside 2-0, Scott and Weaver on target, and stay second. Tibshelf Town moved four points clear of opponents Silver Birches after goals from Vardy two and Waldram saw them beat them 3-1. In the divisions other game Brampton Rovers JMA beat Ashover Vale 3-1, Brandam with two of the goals, Harrison scoring the third.
Matlock Town Wanderers are the side to beat at the moment in THREE, their 4-2 win over AFC Bolsover keeping them two points clear at the top on fifteen points from six games. In their latest victory Brown and Walker scored two goals each. Red Lion Whitt Moor are their closest rivals, two points behind them and they beat Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh 3-1, Linacre twice, Wiley once with the goals. Creswell Black Diamond prop up the division following a 5-2 defeat by Newton George and Dragon for whom Brett Gibb, Andrew Spencer, Steven Webster, Reilly and Marshall scored. Dronfield Woodhouse beat Beechers Brook 3-0, Mottram 2, Sears 1 whilst Brickmakers drew 2-2 with Double Top.
Pilsley and Woodthorpe Inn began the day in FOUR level on points but a 3-2 win for Pilsley moved them three points above Inn and to the top of the division, Shiels with two goals Cave with one. Chesterfield Arms visited Newbold and beat them 2-0, Kealey and Virgillio the scorers, goals from Mathew Herring, Dean Lowe and Chris White secured Lowgates Sports Club a 3-0 win over North Wingfield and Brimington Park Colts eased past Spartans 5-1.
Newbold Sports moved to the top of NAPIT FIVE following a crushing 7-0 victory at Dunstan Rovers, Warwick and Revill both scoring a couple of goals in the win. Brampton Brewery v Old Whittington MW was the game of the day as far as goals were concerned with twelve being scored, eight by the Brewers, Hardman scoring four of them, Ceesay three, Nowak one. A much closer game took place at North Wingfield MW where the hosts just edged out Holmehall 1ST 4-3, Large two, Hegarty and Morley scoring the winning goals. Gate Inn were also winners, their victory coming at the expense of Spital whom they beat 4-1, D Kirk netting a brace in the win.
Win number six from six for SIX leaders Hady Villa saw Renishaw MW beaten 4-0, Higginbottom, Laming, Smedley and Wynns goal seeing off opponents number six. Crown Killamarsh scored six to stay second against Hasland WMC, Stead two, Brown, Whitehouse, Stephens and Page the jewels in the Crown. Fidlers Rest went one better scoring seven at Holmehall 2ND who scored twice. Palmer and Millan scoring four of the goals between them, two each. Furnace Hill Hurricanes are third in the division, Steve Jones bagging a hat trick, Tom Boyden scoring twice in a 5-2 win over Boythorpe. Dronfield Wanderers completed the winners list in this division, beating Barlow Kingston Rovers 3-0.
NAPIT SEVEN table toppers Brampton Rovers Reserves were tied with Spartans Reserves 2-2 at one point but turned on the style later to romp home 6-2, Gary Morris twice, Chris Andrews, Ian Branson, Graham Spellman and Wayne Mills on target. A 2-0 win at Boot and Shoe sees Duckmanton Community in second place, Weatherall and Nussey the goal getters, Oxcroft Uniteds N Grayson hit a hat trick in their 5-0 success at Britannia Tupton. Dronfield Town continue to search for their first win since joining the league following a heavy 8-2 defeat to Clay Cross Miners and Diners for whom Lunn, Craig Young and Pears scored twice each. Brimington Club however have won for the first time, beating Grassmoor Sports Reserves 2-1, Buxton and Hardy the heroes. Finally Squadron Medical beat Grassmoor Gladiators by seven goals to three.
