Power Play Guidance for ALL Junior Formats.

Development football is designed to create the best learning and fun experience for
young players.
To ensure an imbalance in ability does not spoil this, the FA approved ‘Power Play’ is the chosen guideline adopted by the H&CJGFL for both Mini & Youth Soccer.

The H&CJGFL successfully introduced the FA Powerplay Rule in 2023-24 & will continue for 2024-25 season, onwards it is to be introduced into the H&CJGFL RULEBOOK Rules 20 (F).

Powerplay is the formal FA way to balance up games, but there are also lots of things that teams can do to match up and make football matches an enjoyable experience. See attached document for guidance.
