SOUTHERN DIVISION

Champions, GNG Elite Development travelled to face Leicester Nirvana and continued their 100% record as they ran out 3-2 victors. Diego Ramos, Rheiss McClean and Dan Marriott with the goals with Ali Ashkir and Mohamed Soumah replying for Nirvana.

The final game of the season saw GNG Elite Development on their travels once again to face Aylestone Park and they completed the season with a 100% record as they gained a hard fought 4-3 victory. However, things nearly didn’t go to plan as they had to come from behind to win. They raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to a brace from Shivang Odedra but Harry Sheffield pulled one back for Aylestone and it stayed that way until half time. Aylestone drew level through Kane Duncan and a minute later were in front as Harry Sheffield bagged his second. It was end to end after this until Shivang Odedra drew GNG level with his third of the game. Both teams went looking for the winner and with time running out Diego Ramos broke Aylestone hearts as he bagged GNGs’ winner.
