There was much relief this weekend when the County Cup matches went ahead which would have caused chaos if they had been postponed.
In the Berks & Bucks Semi Finals, Wycombe lost by a narrow 1-0 margin to Combination side Chesham Utd. The other Semi Final was not as close, Bracknell running out comfortable 7-0 winners over First Division strugglers Reading Ladies.
The Chesham vs Bracknell final is on 19 April at 6pm at Beaconsfield SYCOB.
In Oxford, Launton made it through with a bye, whilst Oxford City were made to work hard against Henley Town, coming through 2-1 victors in the end.
Oxford United also progressed with a 6-0 win over Brize Norton Ladies.
The Oxon Semi Final rounds are scheduled for 15/03/09.
In the League, the Premier Division hosted 4 important matches. H&W drew away from the chasing pack with a 3-1 win over Aldershot. BTC Riverside claimed a notable scalp with a 3-0 win over Southampton Saints. Southampton Women and MK Wanderers battled out an 11 goal thriller with MK losing out 6-5.
