Only 7 games escaped the clutches of the Baltic weather this week. In the Premier Division Gavin Armitage hit a hattrick for Kirkheaton Rovers in their 6-0 win over Shepley.
Nathan Goddard, Robert Holroyd and Michael Calvert were Yetton’s other scorers.
In Division 1 Honley entertained Holme Valley Academicals on a 3g pitch and their investment paid off with a 7-3 victory. Oliver Mansell-Taylor hit four with Joe Kelly, Phil Rigby and Joe Morgan completing the scoring for Honley. Chris Lokey, Owen Sutton and Will Matthais scoring for the Accies.
Heywood Irish Centre moved up to fourth spot in Division 3 after their 8-2 win over AFC Lindley Reserves with goals from Cameron Taylor (three), Richie Evans (two), Martin Boon, Alex Crawford and Reece Julien. Jake Sykes and Craig Taylor scoring for Lindley. Joe Dunrod scored as Holmfirth Town were beaten 5-1 by Britannia Sports Reserves. Scorers for Britannia were Ryan Lach (two), Clayton Phillips (two) and Brad Stansfield.
In Division 5 Honley Reserves moved up to fourth place following their 5-1 win over Hade Edge Development with goals from Michael Roebuck (two), James Coates, Robbie and Callum Greenwood. Michael Mabey scoring the consolation for the Edge. Wayne Conroy, Stephen Brook, Ryan Kennedy and David Ginty Scored for Almondbury Woolpack Reserves in their 4-3 win over Cumberworth A. Adam Whitehead (two) and Anthony Higham scored for Cumberworth.
In the Huddersfield FA Challenge Cup Lepton Highlanders from the Yorkshire Amateur League Supreme Division beat Meltham Athletic 6-0. Alfie Smalley (two), Lucas Marriott, Jack Bowers, Nathan Eastwood and James North scoring for the Highlanders.
