Second half performances showed the determination of champions Anstey Town not to concede their title. In midweek they trailed 0-2 at home at half time to Huncote Sports and Social, and fought back to draw 2-2; at the weekend they were held 0-0 at the break before a brace from leading scorer Daz Wheeler pushed them to a 5-0 defeat of struggling Cottesmore Amateurs. That closed the gap to leaders Sileby Town to 3 points, with 2 games in hand, the show down at Sileby on the 5th of May.
Sileby kept up the pressure with a 3-2 defeat of Saffron Dynamo, their Chris Baker notched a double whilst Brett Adams converted a pair of penalties, the defeat leaves the Dynamo needing to win their remaining 3 games to take 3rd spot.
A second half turn about saw Lutterworth Town convert a 0-2 deficit into a 2-3 away win at Ashby Ivanhoe and Huncote Sports and Social completed a good week for them with a 2-1 defeat of Lutterworth Athletic.
