Minutes of Meeting held on Tuesday 11th April 2023

Clubs Absent: Thornton CC AFC
President, Welcomed everyone to the April meeting.
Secretary Report:-Minutes of the meeting held 13th March 2023 were accepted. Secretary read out message from FA re the forthcoming Coronation and playing games on that day, no games scheduled for 6th May.
Treasurer Report: - Any club that has not returned trophy from last year fines will be sent out. The admission charge for the Challenge Cup Final on the 2nd May and the Invitation Cup Final on the 11th May will be £5-00 and £2-00
Any clubs fined must within 7 days of notice of the fine, choose one of the five (5) options and let secretary know, if option one is your choice fine must be paid within 7 days.
Fixture Secretary Report: - At present time ok. Team sheets to be submitted asap after game finished, these can have bearing on awards been given out.
Registration Secretary : Nil
Referees Report:- Nil
Still no appointment secretary, anyone interested please contact me.
FA Report:- CVSL Secretary is finishing at end of season and taking secretaries post with The Heavy Woollen.
The HDFA cup finals will be Sunday Final 4th May, Saturday Final will be 9th May, both finals at the Shay
Astley’s:- Quote been accepted re the drainage work hope to start asap when the ground is dryer, also the car park to be improved after agreement with cricket club.
CMBC: - Nil
A.O.B:- Problems re trying to sort out date of next meeting because of Bank Holiday so it will be on 15th May. Possible presentation evening on the 12th May but no venue as yet, Joe will ask if Catholic club is available.
Warley Rangers appeared before the committee to answer questions regarding abuse to too a match official in a game played 25th March 2023. It was pointed out to them that this could have led to a misconduct charge which involves a very heavy fine for the club. Warley accepted this and would take steps to see this not happen again.
