COUNTY CUP
Barrow Town had a 3-2 victory over Ibstock United with Taps Karempa (2) and Lewis Sharpe scoring with Liam Donaghy getting both for Ibstock. Ibstock took an early 2-0 lead only for Barrow to come back to level things up. Anstey Nomads had a 5-0 win over GNG 2014 with Oliver Creese, Joe Swain, Talvin Shanker, Andrew Canacoo and Donte Ramsey doing the damage. Ashby Ivanhoe swept aside St Andrews 7-1 with Angus Blair Park (3), Oscar Blair Park, Elliott Beldon, Nathan Price and Jamie Fitzgerald all finding the net with Euan Rossington getting the Andrews consolation. Birstall United went out 4-0 to Leicester Road and Harborough Town lost 2-0 at Oadby Town. Sam Towe was Saffron Dynamos’ hero as he bagged the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Quorn 2014. Aylestone Park 94 and Lutterworth Athletic must try again next week as their game was postponed while Aylestone Park Youth had a bye.
