The wet weather caused the postponement of the vast majority of games on Sunday with just twelve taking place, three of those in the Dey and Co Alma Cup. NAPIT TWO side Brampton Rovers JMA caused an upset in one Alma game as they beat ONE’s bottom side Hopflower Utd 5-3 after extra time, the game being tied at 3-3 after ninety minutes. Jake Armitage scored twice for JMA, Connor Roberts, Steph brown and Phill Robb once. FC Utd of Bolsover’s Jack Weaver was on top form, hitting a fine treble as his side beat New Whitt by five goals to one whilst Mitchell, Spencer, Morton and Burton hit the winning goals for Doe Lea as they won 4-2 at Clowne Wanderers.

Just one game was played in THREE and it saw Hollingwood Athletic beat AFC North Wingfield by three goals to one, Weatherall, McTighe and, Hopkinson scoring the winning goals.

In FOUR Duckmanton Community could only field eight players against Butchers Arms and as you would expect Butchers had most of the play but despite being three players short Community restricted Arms to just four goals.

In FIVE Bolsover Town took on Gardeners Clay Cross and beat them 4-1, Kyle Perrins twice, Danny Harper and Jamie Madin the match winners.

Hasland Community Eagles are top of SIX and they beat Evolution 4-1 on Sunday to continue their excellent season, Jackson scoring twice, Plant and Hogan once this time out. Andy Kelly scored twice, Rodd Glover and Sam Wagstaff once each as Steelmelters outplayed Woodthorpe Wanderers to win 4-2 and Palterton Sporting Club and Astwith All Stars drew 2-2, Sanderson scoring twice for Palterton, Deakin twice for Astwith.

A goal fest in SEVEN saw Britannia Tupton win at Dronfield Town by an amazing eight goals to six. The goals rained in with Jonathan Wild hitting a treble for the losers whilst Mark Vine scored five for the winners. New Bolsover Social Club beat Spartans Seconds 4-1, Corey Bluff, Nathan Parker, Stephen Sweeny and Daniel Sanderson hitting the match winning goals. Finally Dean Gosney and Paul Greasley scored for Anchor Clowne in a 2-1 victory over Renishaw Rangers TFC.
