Offerton Green are the new leaders of Division One, with Hillgate involved in the Cheshire Cup Offey took advantage with a comfortable win over strugglers Lostock Rangers, they scored seven of their nine goals in the first half. Ryan McNally from the edge of the area opened their account Leon Murphy scored twice and goals from Aiden Dwyer, McKenzie Cookson and Harry Jackson . Scott Joyce netted Lostock’s lone reply before Oakley Fox scored Offy’s seventh from the penalty spot. The goals dried up in the second half but Leon Murphy completed his hat trick and Aiden Dwyer ended the scoring with his second.

Stretford Vics moved into second place after their win at home against County Supporters. Goals from Jonny Blomeley and an edge of the box shot from Zach Berry put them two up before Mitch Whittle pulled one back before half time. Vic’s Bill Kirby twice broke through the County defence to double his side’s tally. Sean Reid then got on the score sheet with the fifth. A goal apiece for County’s Karl Atkinson and Nathan Thomas made the score-line a lot more respectable.

Mountfield came away with all three points from their game with Northenden FC, they had most of the chances in the first half but only had Jack Hodkinson’s bullet header from Bobby Smith’s corner to show for it. At the other end the usual reliable Tom Franks missed a good chance to even the score. Ethan Robson was brought down in the area by the Northenden keeper, Steve Prunty then saw his penalty superbly saved. He was shown how to take a penalty when Jordan Thompson scored from the spot after Tim Harvey had been fouled. But Mountfield had the last laugh when Danny Kyobe found Tom Hodkinson with a pin point pass who squared it for Dan Steel to put it into the open net.

There was not a lot of constructive football played in the first half in the Cheadle FC v Stockport Cosmos game, only Cheadle’s Kieran Reay managed to find the net. It improved in the second half especially for Cheadle with Ben Reeves netting a hat trick in a twenty three minute spell. Liam Webb added the fifth with the best goal of the game. Showing he still had it veteran Adam Stuart ended the scoring with Cheadle’s sixth.

Edgeley Villa’s comfortable win at home to Man & Chorlton puts them in top spot in Division Two. Fifteen goals were scored in the ninety minutes, unfortunately most ended up in Chorlton’s net. Dave Herbert started the rout with the opening goal. Kev Boswell found Oli Burgess with his header for Villa’s second. Rick Kelly then got in the act scoring the next two Villa goals, his first a chip over the keeper, the second was a diving header from Jamie Clarke’s cross. Chorlton’s Arnold Atvisor broke the sequence with his goal. It got better for the visitors when Francis Hill unmarked headed home their second, followed by their third scored by Mannan Hassan. The half ended with Oli Burgess getting his second goal. It didn’t take Rick Kelly to long in the second half to complete his hat trick. Not to be outdone Burgess also completed his with a sweet volley then when Dave Herbert found him with a clever pass Burgess got his fourth. At the other end, Daniel Hulse netted his sides fourth. Shae Kelly, made it 10-4 with his goal, but it was not ‘over and out’ for Villa, Burgess (who else) ended the scoring with a spectacular overhead kick.

Over in Adswood the Villa Hatters completed the Club double with a 6-1 win over Adswood Utd. Kenzie Daniels opened up the scoring for them with a pass from Kurtes Curran. A mix up in the home defence presented Daniels with his chance to score his second. Curran then got in the scoring act rifling in a shot in the top corner of the home net from Divino Gomes’s corner. A penalty just before half time got Adswood back in the game, Jack Brindley the scorer. Kurtes Curran, got his second early in the second half he then unselfishly let a pass from Tom Jones go through to Daniels to complete his hat trick. With a shot that got a slight deflection Liam Atkinson completed the scoring.

Higher Poynton at home to Bosden Farm Rovers found themselves a goal down when Kian Davies found the back of their net with a twenty five yarder. Easing their way into the game Poynton drew level with a goal from Matt Tonks who beat a couple of defenders before beating the keeper with a low shot to make it a 1-1 at half time. Poynton got on top and went in front with a goal from top scorer Marcus Graham. When a cross was not cleared by the Bosden defence Pete Chignell had the simple chance of using his chest to put the ball in the net for the third goal. At the other end a clearance hit Bosden’s Chris Grant which ended in the home net to end the scoring.

Cheadle Hulme Galaxy took the points home with them with a 3-0 win against Woodhouse Park. James Longshaw opened the scoring, Zahin Mohamed add the second before half time. Longshaw completed the scoring with his second.
Stockport Orion showed no mercy for their opponents Woodhouse Park Avengers. Sharing the deluge of goals were James Burns, Jade Barber and Jimmy Moulton who all completed hat tricks. Leo Rafferty and Saul Hogan two apiece and singles for Zak Grainger, Finley Croasdale. A special mention for the other two scorer’s, birthday boy Luke Fox and Josh White who scored his very first goal in an eleven aside game.

Cheshire Milkmen at home to Bosden farm Albion came out on top with a 6-3 score-line. Will Shirt, netted a hat trick. Jordan Barry, Zak Bradshaw and Harry Higgins sharing the others. Miles Vare assisted in four of their goals. Albion’s three scorers were Triece Davidson, Toby Davidson (not related) and Amaan Zamen.
