FA YOUTH CUP
Aylestone Park made the short trip to take on fellow League side Blaby & Whetstone Athletic and made it through to the next round courtesy of a emphatic 7-0 victory. Harry Sheffield (2), Yaro Phillips, Shay Beeby, Kieran Cooper, Corey Holdom and Matthew Chaddaway with the goals. Harborough Town were also on their travels and made the next round as they defeated Raunds Town 7-1. James Lawton (3), Langley Voss, Ben Woodward, Tim Gorman Powell and Alfie Harris with the goals. Gresley had a home tie against Boston United but unfortunately went out losing 4-0.
The next round is scheduled for week commencing 2nd October and we wish our remaining teams all the best as they are both on their travels.

NORTHERN DIVISION
Mansfield Town started their League campaign with a 5-0 away victory over Allexton & New Parks Eagles with Dion Potter and Declan Whitton both bagging a pair with Karol Wengrzik also scoring. Ashby Ivanhoe hosted Anstey Nomads with the latter picking up the points in a 4-1 victory. Szymon Donnerstag (2), Corey Arment and Finley Jones for the Nomads with Jack Robinson replying for Ashby. Ashby Ivanhoe Knights travelled to local rivals Coalville Town Ravens and maintained their 100% record as they recorded a 3-2 victory. Sam Wheeler (2) and Kai Smalley for the Knights with Ben Jones and Jordan Allen replying for the Ravens.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
Lutterworth Athletic had a 3-2 away victory at Carib Sports & Social with Jamie Ward, Charlie Yates and Lewis Blackwell getting on the score sheet with Jack Langton and Ilyaas Bedar replying for Carib. Both Allexton & New Parks and FC GNG had 6-2 victories over Oadby Owls and Friar Lane & Epworth respectively thus maintaining their 100% records. Harry Bradley and Mitchell Fairhurst both bagging a pair with Jude McNally and Sam Gudgeon also scoring in their win over Oadby Owls who had Ben Parkinson and Bailey Beresford replying. GNGs’ scorers were Arish Cheema and Stuart Gjeta, both bagging a pair, with George Harris and Kiri Vasilev also on target with the Lanes’ replies coming from Mason McDonald and Mohammed Bedar.
