COUNTY CUP
At the 3rd time of trying, the outstanding semi final took place and it saw Anstey Nomads book their place in the Final with a 2-1 victory over Oadby Town. Oliver Creese and Lewis Austin with the Nomads goals. They will now play Leicester Road on Wednesday 4th March at Holmes Park with a 7 pm kick off.
NORTHERN DIVISION
Gresley played their 1st game for 8 weeks as they inflicted a 5-2 defeat on Coalville Town. Josh Dutton (3), Harry Lansdowne and Zaki Evans were the young Moatmens scorers. Harris Reeves and Ben Neal for the Ravens.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
This week saw Lutterworth Athletic play catch up as they played 2 fixtures. On Monday night they travelled to take on Harborough Town and returned home with the 3 points in an emphatic 8-0 victory. Shay Brennan led the way as he bagged himself 5, Alex Rhodes with a brace and Joel Wolfe also scoring. They also took maximum points on Wednesday as they had a 2-1 victory over Allexton & New Parks with Shay Brennan and Harry Preston scoring. Allextons’ reply coming from Brandon Jarratt. Aylestone Park Youth had a 3-1 home win over St Andrews with Mason Lopez, Thabo Makombe and an own goal making up the numbers with Ewan Rossington replying for the Andrews.
