Financial Assistance is now available via the BCFA.
A funding scheme that can award up to £5,000 to help kick start new football activity has extended its deadline for applications until 2013.
The Grow the Game initiative has been designed by the Football Foundation to help fund exciting new football projects to increase participation in the game and help improve grassroots football across England.
The funding window will now close on January 18th 2013.
The scheme will support new football activity with grants of £5,000 over a maximum of three years. When selecting successful applications, a priority will be given to teams to support the transition from youth to adult football.
Please note - Grow the Game is a revenue programme and can only support revenue costs, no capital items can be funded through the Grow the Game, including all kit and equipment.
There is a set time frame within you must start delivering the project - this is any time between 1st June 2013 and 31st August 2013.
You can expect to hear a decision on whether or not your application has been successful not later than the end of April 2013.
Birmingham County FA welcomes all interested parties to apply for this funding locally, and would especially like to see projects which focus on the development of the 11v11 format, be that in youth or adult football.
