Our congratulations are extended to Zulus who secured the Division A title in style this week with a fantastic 3-1 win in their, winner takes all contest with Runners Up, Deportivo. Hardcore FCs surprise 6-2 defeat at the hands of Inter Flaps allowed Grampus 8 to leapfrog them into third spot, as they picked up three points courtesy of a walkover win when LSD Eindhoven couldnt raise a team, while Wiganerkillya finished the season strongly with a resounding 6-1 win against The Underdogs.
All The Big Test Icicles had to do this week was to win to clinch the honours and this they achieved in some comfort as a 5-1 win against Disposable Heroes earned then the title and our congratulations. Runners Up, FC Hog, pushed them all the way throughout the season and were just one point short of the leaders at the death after edging a close contest with Showbar AFC, who finish third, 2-1. Rapid Viagra make up the top half of the final table with an emphatic 7-1 win against Newton Heath while three points for 3 Pigeons, when Village Rangers failed to take to the field, means they avoided the relegation trap door for another season.
Golden Blum FC had already clinched the Division C title but carried on their winning ways this week with an excellent 5-3 win against Of Mice And Men, while RBJ Cars finished Runners Up, despite a final day defeat at the hands of Hardly Athletic 5-4, ahead of Kings Of Carlo on goal difference only, as Kings Of Carlo ran out 5-1 winners against Ninja Turtles, six goals short of what was needed. Rams Re-United complete the top half of the table with three points from a walkover win when their opponents failed to show.
We look forward to seeing you all on Monday - and good luck!
