Kirby Muxloe and Barrow Town maintain top spots.
The top 6 played each other with the top 2 Kirby Muxloe and Barrow Town bringing home the bacon. Kirby travelled to Hinckley Downes and returned home as 0-2 away victors after a goal in each half.
Barrow trailed 1-2 at home to Saffron Dynamo, but a 2nd half hat trick, to make it 4 for the afternoon from leading scorer Ash Warner, enabled Barrow to lay the ghost of last weeks defeat at St Andrews with a 4-2 victory.
Anstey Nomads and St Andrews completed the 6 with Nomads posting a 2-0 victory, the 1st goal accredited to a certain Matt Piper(former Leicester City and Sunderland), to push them ahead of the Andrews who drop down the table to 8th.
Holwell Sports complete the current top 6 after they continued their free scoring mood with a 2-4 away win at Ellistown, Scot Mooney claimed an hat trick whilst Paul O?Callaghan netted a goal in each half for the home side.
A couple of goals either side of the break gave Bardon Hill Sports a 0-4 away win at Thurmaston Town whilst a Scot McClennan double gave Birstall Utd a much need 3 points over strugglers Ratby Sports who slip back in to the bottom 2.
Rich Lewis netted twice as Ibstock Utd returned from Rothley Imps as 1-3 away winners and Blaby and Whetstone celebrated their midweek senior cup semi final win with a 0-0 draw at Aylestone Park.
2nd half goals sealed the points for Highfield Rangers with a 2-0 victory over Thurnby Rangers as the morning?s bottom 2 clashed at Gleneagles Avenue, the win taking Highfields out of the bottom 2.
