Kirby Muxloe fail to capitalise on their nearest challengers.
Barrow Town and Saffron Dynamo both lost at home in midweek, to St Andrews and Aylestone Park respectively. Leaders Kirby Muxloe failed to capitalise on their nearest challengers both losing by going down at St Andrews 1-0 at the weekend, whilst the expected battle between Saffron and Barrow was called off owing to a waterlogged pitch.
Hinckley Downes moved up to 3rd, to split Barrow and Saffron, with a 1-3 away win at Holwell Sports where Scot Bayliss added his 2nd of the match with an injury time penalty.
Anstey Nomads ended a run of 3 defeats when they came from behind to win 1-2 at Highfield Rangers and Ibstock Utd posted their 10th point, from the possible last 12, with a 0-1 away win at Blaby and Whetstone Athletic.
Rothley Imps ended bottom placed Thurnby Rangers revival with a 2-0 victory whilst Ratby Sports moved out of the bottom 2, to be replaced by Highfield Rangers, after a Daz Taylor double led them to a 4-1 defeat of Birstall Utd.
Aylestone Park posted their 1st back to back wins of the season with a 1-0 defeat of Thurmaston Town.
