Overview of the action from the Week 9 of NTU's 5-a-side BUNDESLIGA

The BUNDESLIGA returned this weekend following the Easter break and saw the teams at the top of the league kicking on as they looked to maintain their pushes for the league title.

Goldsmith's cause was aided by Shelvey Style having players available due to a fixture clash with their 11-a-side teams game and thus being unable to field a team, gifting three points to Goldsmiths. Average Joe's provided the same advantage to both Exeter Gently and Mill House.

Exeter Gently doubled their points gain from the weekend with a comprehensive, and flamboyant 7-0 win over CC Cosmos that featured some of the highest standard of attacking football seen in the league this season, to put themselves firmly back in the title hunt and put an end to Cosmos's faint hopes.

This had been a vital win for Exeter, as LEX FC had earlier maintained their position at the top of the league with a 6-0 win over Muay Thai Fighters and Mill House had kept up their title challenge, winning 4-1 against Gordon House Massive.

The last game of the day saw a Friendly fixture take place between Mill House and Sandby FC, with the score finishing

Week 10 of the BUNDESLIGA could be a decisive one for the four teams who can still win the league. Second placed Exeter Gently don't have a game scheduled and so will be keeping an eye on the results of third placed Goldsmiths against Gordon House Massive and the face off between fourth placed Mill House and table toppers LEX FC. A win for LEX will certainly see Mill House and Exeter counted out of the title race, and could also see them win the title with a week to spare should Goldsmiths fail to win.

The weeks other four games sees Muay Thai Fighters catching up on their game in hand as they play both Average Joe's and Two Balls Are Not Enough, whilst Sandby will be doing the same as they play CC Cosmos and Shelvey Style.
