Dunmow Rhodes F.C.Reserves lift trophy after extra time
Dunmow Rhodes twice cam from behind to win the Division Four League Cup final, settling the game in extra time.
The game finished 2-2 in normal time but two goals in extra time saw Dunmow secure victory.
A tight opening with few chances, but in the 8th minute of the game Dunmow struck the woodwork. On 15 minutes a free kick from 30 yards was blasted high and wide.
On 20 minutes the Beacon Hill striker ran clear put was denied by the on rushing Dunmow keeper who was penalised for handling outside of the box, covering defenders ensured that the keeper only received a yellow card for the offence.
Beacon Hill nudged in front on 37 minutes when a cross from the right was deflected into the net .
With the half drawing to a close Dunmow were awarded a penalty in stoppage time which was converted seeing the sides go in level at half time
Ten minutes after the interval Beacon Hill go close as a break down the left as the cross comes in the resultant shot just goes over the bar.
Five minutes later and Beacon Hill restore their advantage. Another break this time through the middle brings a good save out of the Dunmow keeper but as the ball rebounds the Beacon Hill striker was hand to tuck the ball home.
With the game drawing to a conclusion Dunmow continued to pressurise the Beacon Hill goal a foul inside the box in the first minute of added on time is spotted by the Assistant Referee and a second penalty is awarded to Dunmow to take the game into extra time

In the 7th minute of extra time a poor clearance allows Dunmow to take the lead for the first time in the game as the ball is lofted over the Beacon Hill keeper into the net.
in the 105th minute Dunmow put the game to bed as a great strike from 20 yards nestled into the left bottom corner
