COUNTY CUP
Anstey Nomads took on Leicester Road in the Final of the Midweek Floodlit Cup at Holmes Park and despite putting up a brave fight, Leicester Road took the trophy back to Hinckley in a 3-0 victory.
NORTHERN DIVISION
Birstall United completed their League programme with a 1-0 home defeat to Ibstock United, who had Jordan Lees to thank for his lone strike. They do however, still have an interest in the League Cup as they have an outstanding quarter final tie to play. The race for the title hots up as there are still 5 teams still in with a shout. Quorn 2014 remain in the driving seat although they suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Gresley, who in turn move into 2nd spot. Danny Bryans for Quorn with Albert Lansdowne bagging 2 from the penalty spot and his brother Harry scoring the other. Depending on results this could go down to the last game of the season as Gresley still have to play Ashby Ivanhoe twice and Quorn at home.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
The 3 contenders for the title were all in action and Lutterworth Athletic remain in top spot after a convincing 6-0 away victory at Thurmaston Magpies. Alex Neal (3), Adam Bolley, Alex Rhodes and Joel Wolfe for the Atho. Aylestone Park 94 stay 2nd as they also recorded a 6-0 victory away at Harborough Town with Kyle Chouhan (2), Kieran Mackie, Callum Armsden, Nuno Monteiro and Evandro Sanchez all on target. Aylestone Park Youth overcame a spirited comeback from Allexton & New Parks as they recorded a 3-2 victory, after being 3-0 up at half time. Mason Lopez (2) and Carlton Beardsmore for the Youth with Diego Ramos Walters and Joshua Gunn replying for Allexton. Like the Northern Division this could also go down to the wire, depending on results, as Lutterworth Athletic still have to play Aylestone Park Youth twice and Aylestone Park 94 in the final game of the season.
