Worc Raiders come from behind to lift Cup
In a closely contested first half, neither team managed to capitalise in this Saturday Side Nursing Cup final, meaning it was goalless going in at the interval.
Early in the second half, it was Malvern Town who took the initiative through a well executed lob from James McKee. This only brought Raiders to life and courtesy of a great run from Mikey Jeffries; setup Steve Jeffries to score the equaliser and his 30th goal of the season. The turn around was complete on 70 mins when James Parkes found the net to make the final score 2 - 1.
Thats the second cup of the season for Raiders in what has been a good first season in the Worcester League where a 3rd place finish still remains possible with 5 games remaining.
