COUNTY CUP
Jack Toon, Mason Lopez and Jagdeep Dhaliwal were on target for Aylestone Park Youth as they defeated Thurmaston Magpies 3-0. Harborough Town had a 2-0 win over Coalville Town thanks to goals from Ali Powell and Stuart Hogben. Holwell Sports went out, 5-0, at the hands of Oadby Town whilst Ibstock United had a 5-1 win over Loughborough Dynamo with Sam Broadhurst (2), Sam straw, Josh Branston and Henry Legg all on target.
NORTHERN DIVISION
There are 3 teams that now share top spot. Although Quorn 2014 top the table, albeit on goal difference, they suffered their 1st defeat of the season going down 3-1 to Ashby Ivanhoe, who in turn moved into 2nd, and have the only unbeaten record so far. George Clamp, Elliott Beldon and Angus Blair Park scoring for the Ivanhoe with Callum Hamilton replying for Quorn. Birstall United move into 3rd as they had a 4-1 win over GNG 2014. Lewis Murphy (2), James Pearce and Rhys Thomas for Birstall with GNGs’ reply coming from Keval Parekh. Anstey Nomads has a 2-1 victory over Gresley thanks to Kingston Whitehead and Oliver Creese with Callum Jenkins replying for Gresley.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
Due to the County Cup, just the one game in this Division and that saw Lutterworth Athletic have an emphatic 9-0 victory over St Andrews, making it 3 wins on the spin. The Athos marksmen being Lewis McLean (3), Ben Stephens and Joel Wolfe both bagging a pair, Adam Bolley and Alex Rhoades.
