Hasland could have become league champions on Thursday night with a victory over a Clowne Wanderers but the celebrations are definitely on hold after Wanderers pulled off a superb 3-1 victory. The defeat means Hasland have a one point advantage over second placed Killamarsh Juniors Athletic having two games left to Athletic's one. Fascinatingly the two sides go head to head on the eleventh in what could be the title decider. FC Britannia for whom Keenan hit a hat trick and Bartram one beat Creswell 4-0.
NAPIT TWO winners Tibshelf a town suffered a rare set- back going down 5-3 to an impressive FC Brimington for whom Thomas starred, smashing four of the goals. Silver Birches took on bottom side Wingerworth a Barley Mow and were beaten by them 1-0.
THREE side Red Lion Whitt Moor thrashed Newton George and Dragon 8-1 but will have to settle for a third place finish behind West Killamarsh and AFC Bolsover. They still have a game to play and are three points behind Bolsover who have a vastly superior goal difference.
In FOUR second from bottom Chesterfield Arms played third from bottom New Whitt B and drew with them1-1.
Gate Inn North Wingfield brushed aside Brampton Brewery 8-1 to move within a point of second placed Hasland a Community, S Bicknall scoring three. Newbold Sports beat Palterton Sporting Club whilst Holme Hall beat Spital 4-3.
The top games featuring the TWO in SIX had contrasting outcomes with already crowned champions Hady a Villa recording a regulation 3-1 victory over Fidlers Rest whilst second placed Crown Killamarsh were thumped 7-2 by a dominant Markham Arms outfit. Gavin Poulton and Tom Rhodes scored for Renishaw MW Reserves in a 2-1 win at Dronfield Wanderers.
Brampton Rovers Reserves completed their NAPIT SEVEN season with a 4-1 win and a third place finish. And finally Glapwell Gladiators beat Brimington Club 5-3.
