If approaching Cheltenham along the Golden Valley bypass from Gloucester, go over the motorway Junction 11, then follow the signs to Cheltenham. This will eventually lead to a roundabout on which is the Golden Valley Thistle Hotel. Go straight across this roundabout, pass the new GCHQ "Doughnut" buildings on the left and then turn left at the next roundabout into Princess Elizabeth Way. Take the second exit at the Square Roundabout which is presented by Coronation Square and then continue along Princess Elizabeth Way until the next Roundabout.
Go straight across this into Kingsditch Lane. After about 1/4 mile go straight across the two mini roundabouts into Wymans Lane.

The entrance to Swindon Village Playing Fields is on the left, immediately after the pelican crossing that is just before the right hand turning into Swindon Lane, which has a level crossing after about 50 yards.
