Todays Final results of the season
WOW!!! .... the end of another great season and what a season it has been.
Today Park Regis Warriors FC beat Park Tavern FC 3-0 to win the Division Three title on the last day of the season, so well done to everyone at Park Regis FC and for everyone in Division Three for making it so competitive. In Division One that title was only decided two weeks ago so congratulations to Standford Hill FC for taking the title and again everyone in Division One for the great season and last week the Division Two title was only decided in a winner takes all game which Red Lion FC came through as Champions.
I feel it’s been one of the most competitive seasons for a while and I want to congratulate every single player/coach/manager/secretaries and Match Officials that have made this possible.
In our Cup Competitions we had 6 different winners and some great games and crowds as well so a big well done to our Cup Winners the Ambermotor Sport Junior Cup – Sheppey Co-op FC, the Dannyboy Junior Charity Cup – Park Regis Warriors FC, the Brett King Senior Charity Cup – Sheerness East FC, the Red Lion Senior Cup – Range Rovers Sports FC, the Len Waters League Cup – Standford Hill FC and finally the Rose Bowl Winners - Eastern Athletic FC in that most remarkable Final. I thank you all and all the finalists for making great Finals this season.
Then to put the cherry on the cake a massive well done to all at Range Rovers Sports FC on winning the Kent FA Sunday Junior Cup.
What a fantastic season for the Dore Metals Sheppey Sunday League.
I want to thank Ian Hunter and his boys at Dore Metals for being our sponsors for many years and I hope we have done you proud in your last season as sponsor and we welcome the new era of sponsorship with Lee Havill and we look forward to the start of the new Havill Sheppey Sunday League and we hope for another successful season in September
.
I also want to thank all our sponsors, cup final programme advertisers and to Matt Smith and everyone at Sheppey United FC for helping make our Finals so successful
.
Finally, I want to thank the hard working committee that help keep this great League alive when other Leagues in the Country are falling by the way side.
Have a great summer and I look forward to starting again in September as the Havill Sheppey Sunday League.
